PRICES & AVAILABILITY – Terms and conditions
No contract shall exist between the client (which expression shall include all persons on whose behalf the client books) and The Company until a signed booking form has been received with deposits or full payment as applicable and a confirmation invoice issued by The Company. When you receive your invoice, please check all the details carefully to ensure they are correct, as this forms the basis the contract between us. If there are any discrepancies, please bring these to our attention within 7 days of Issue; otherwise we will assume the details shown are correct. In the case of telephone bookings made within 8 weeks of departure where payment is made by credit card, a contract shall come into existence immediately we orally confirm the booking. By making such a booking, you are deemed to have accepted these booking conditions which form the basis of all contracts. You must still send a signed booking form to us. Special requests, such as dietary needs, are guaranteed only if itemised on the invoice or in subsequent written communication from The Company.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT
A deposit of £100 per person is required at booking. The final balance of payment is due 12 weeks prior to departure. If the final payment has not been received by this date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit forfeited. Should the booking be made within 12 weeks of departure the full amount is payable immediately. Preferred payment is by Bank Transfer to our UK bank.
The company guarantees the price of the holiday as quoted at the time of booking and reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of any unsold holidays at any time.
Your holiday price does not include:
Lift Pass, equipment rental and ski/snowboard lessons
Room Supplements for reduced occupancy
3% handling fee if payment for your holiday is by credit card
CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
Cancellation shall take effect only when written notification from the person signing the booking form is received by The Company. In all cases of cancellation by the client the deposit and any amendment charges will be forfeited. The following cancellation fees are expressed as a percentage of the total holiday cost, excluding any amendment charges, which become immediately payable to The Company.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGES BY THE COMPANY
In the unlikely event the company is required to change/cancel your holiday, you will be notified as soon as possible and will have the choice of the following,
Accepting the change
Accepting an alternative holiday with us at no extra cost
Cancelling your holiday and accepting a full refund and apology
This does not include cancellation or changes due to events beyond our control
Everyone booking a holiday with us MUST be adequately insured. If on arrival in resort, you are found to have insufficient cover you will be obliged to purchase a suitable policy.
All clients undertaking the activities operated by the company and/or our suppliers accept and understand the inherent risks of such activities therefore no claim pertaining to death or injuries sustained in participation of said activities will be entertained nor liability accepted by the company or suppliers. It should also be noted that whilst Chatel has one of best snow records in the Alps no refund or claim will be given for lack of snow or adverse weather under any circumstances
In the event of death or personal injury to yourself or any of your party travelling with us under your booking the company does not accept any liability if such death or injury is not through any fault of ours or our supplier. We expressly do not accept responsibility if the death or injury is caused through no fault of the company or our supplier or is due to circumstances beyond our control.
Whilst on company property all clients are expected to act and behave in such a manner as not to affect or disrupt the enjoyment of other guests, suppliers and local residents or have a negative effect on the reputation of the company. Any client that is in breach of any of our terms and conditions may have their holiday and the companies responsibility to them terminated immediately and be liable for the cost of any damage so caused.
LOST AND STOLEN PROPERTY
The company will not be held responsible for any loss or theft of personal possessions from our premises or vehicles. Whilst we endeavour to ensure the security of possessions we cannot guarantee it. However any client not properly securing the exits and windows of the chalet will be liable for any property taken as a result of that negligence.
It is important that a pair of indoor shoes is included in your packing as outdoor shoes are strictly forbidden within the chalet.
NO SMOKING POLICY
The company operates a strict no smoking policy inside the chalet an in our vehicle. If people wish to smoke they must do so outside of these areas. Further anyone found to have breached this rule will have their holiday terminated immediately.
Clients travel in the company vehicles entirely at their own risk. The minibus service is free and constitutes no part of the holiday price.
The company website information is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of going live. Information regarding the resort cannot be guaranteed as changes can occur at any time beyond our control.
Your room in the chalet will be available after 3pm on the day of arrival. On departure day it must be vacated by 10 am. Storage facilities in the chalet will be available if required.
In the unlikely event you have any complaint you should notify the chalet staff immediately. No complaints can be accepted for snow conditions, weather, closure of lifts.
TERMS OF CONTRACT
The contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, governed by French Law. Both Parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the French courts at all times.
